Demelza, supported by Berkeley Homes East Thames, provides expert care for babies, children and young people with life limiting conditions in South East London, Kent and East Sussex.
Demelza ensures that families receive support and specialist care when they need it most. This support ranges from diagnosis, in their daily lives and through difficult times such as bereavement.
They strive to create happy memories that will last, whether it is in one of their hospices or the family home. Demelza deliver an outstanding quality of care and are always on hand to support families, easing any worries or fears they may have. The aim is to ensure no child or family will struggle alone.
Demelza's Designated Charity partnership with Berkeley Homes East Thames began in 2012, and has since gone from strength to strength. In 2016/17, Berkeley Homes East Thames staff have raised over £70,000 in support of their work. This support has allowed Demelza to reach an additional 44 families in their own home, providing vital care and support.
