Sister System
Co-founded by care-affected girls in 2017, Sister System is an alternative education provider that offers educational empowerment programmes aiming to build skills, forge pathways to education and employment, enable a life free from abuse and raise mental wellness.
The charity delivers early intervention provision, prioritising support for girls at key transition points. It offers girls aged 13-24 therapeutic mentoring, peer mentoring and other wellness activities like yoga. Support is longitudinal, lasting up to nine years for any one girl.
The Foundation’s support will help Sister System to recruit a full-time Senior Operations Manager to join the leadership team and oversee core operational functions, including the day-to-day running of the organisation, HR, finance, business development, IT and CRM management. In turn, this will free up the Directors time to focus on strategy, governance and sustainable growth.
