North London Hospice, provides high quality care and support to those at the end of their lives. It looks after more than 2,000 terminally ill patients a year in an inpatient unit and in their own homes.
North London Hospice catchment area covers the London Boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. They receive less than 30% of their funding from the NHS and donations from supporters make a significant difference to their work.
North London Hospice are the Designated Charity of St James London North and they have worked together for a number of years. From holding a successful annual golf day and football tournament, to trekking 50km across Iceland in three days, St James staff have been thoroughly involved in raising funds for the hospice. Furthermore, in October 2014, some of the St James staff took part in a trek across the Sahara in order to raise money for The North London Hospice, raising £6,000.
