On 21 February, Berkeley Homes North East London hosted their fifth annual Charity Black Tie Dinner and Quiz for Home-Start London.
The venue was the Hilton London Bankside where 400 guests, ranging from Berkeley staff members to external contractors, were treated to a spectacular evening which began with a drinks reception. Following this, guests sat down for a three course meal with a sports themed quiz in-between each course. The evening's festivities were finished off by a dramatic live auction with some incredible items on offer.
The evening was hosted by Matt Lorenzo, with special guest quiz masters Vicky Gomersall and Chris Kamara. Huge names from the sporting world such as Ray Parlour, Hayley McQueen, Alan Curbishley and Ossie Ardiles attended and mingled with the guests.
The ambition for the evening was to raise £50,000 for Home-Start London. This target was surpassed and a fantastic £69,000 was raised, which will help to support many families.
Everyone in attendance thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and the event was a resounding success.
