December saw the return of Christmas Jumper Day, with businesses across Berkeley hosting events to raise money for their Designated Charities.
The team at Berkeley Homes North East London got their supply chain involved and raised a fantastic £5,965 for Home-Start London. In addition, they collected over 200 Christmas presents which were distributed by the charity's volunteers to families across North London.
Fionna McDermott, NEL's Foundation Champion said: "The smiles on the children's faces when they received the presents show just how appreciated they were!"
The Oxford & Chiltern team got dressed in their finest Christmas attire to support their two charities, Helen & Douglas House and Alexander Devine Children's Hospice.
Berkeley Group and IT also got in on the fun. Here, Christmas Jumper Day was the culmination of a successful '12 Gifts of Christmas' campaign where colleagues bought raffle tickets to be in with a chance of winning festive prizes. The campaign raised £1,830 for Surrey Young Carers.
The funds raised will be match funded by the Foundation directly to the Designated Charities, as part of our winter match funding campaign (up to £5,000 per Designated Charity).
A huge thank you to everyone who got involved! You have all helped to bring some Christmas cheer to our charities and communities.
