The Super 1s disability cricket programme is delivered by the Lord's Taverners, and funded by Berkeley Foundation. This national programme allows thousands of young people with disabilities the chance to play regular, competitive cricket against their peers and enjoy the benefits of playing sport. It also improves the young people's physical and mental wellbeing, and empowers them to realise what they can achieve, regardless of their disability.
The Super 1s Awards celebration evening took place on Thursday 10 October, and saw four very worthy winners receive their trophies - Kian, Callum, Shannon and Lewis. Here are their stories.
