The Annual Review 2022 is a great snapshot of what’s happened in the last year. In total, we gave £3.3 million to our partners – and an incredible £869,000 of this was raised by Berkeley staff!
Our partnerships and programmes reached over 12,300 people last year, and the review summarises the fantastic work that our charity partners delivered to their beneficiaries during the year. We are delighted to share with you the stories of people like Meeya, who was supported to manage her finances through The Money House programme, delivered by our Strategic Partner MyBnk (p22); Rafiatu, who won first place in Imperial College London’s Maker Challenge for her brilliant STEM invention (p30); and Alfie, who plays and coaches disability cricket through Lord’s Taverners Super 1s programme (p44).
You can read their inspirational stories, and many more, in the 2022 Annual Review.
We’re really grateful to our charity partners, who have continued to deliver vital services in a challenging context. Our support is needed now more than ever, and we’re working closely with our charity partners to understand how the cost of living crisis is affecting them, and their beneficiaries. We will continue to draw on the expertise, networks and relationship with the Berkeley Group to support our partners through this challenging time.
As we look to 2023 we will continue to implement our 2030 strategy, which focuses our work around five impact goals. We are excited to launch two new Strategic Partnerships, as well as the third year of our Resilience Fund, which invests in work to increase organisational resilience. It’s going to be another busy year!
