Leaders in Community
Leaders in Community is an award winning dynamic and impactful London-based organisation dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and communities in need. Through its Youth Leadership and Youth Social Action initiatives, the organisation strives to provide local young people with training to develop their personal resilience and overcome barriers to progression and equip local young people with the skills and opportunities to speak out about community issues, and challenge inequalities.
Our funding will be used to bring a Fundraiser on board to apply for targeted funding, with a focus on unrestricted income. This will allow the CEO to step away from income generation and focus on developing a fundraising and wider organisational strategy that can make the most of the current operating environment and opportunities. Additionally, part of the funding will support two roles that would have otherwise ended.
