My Life My Say
My Life My Say is a youth-led charity on a mission to encourage young people’s participation in democracy and get every single young person voting.
It creates conversation between young people and policymakers via the award-winning flagship programme, Democracy Cafés, which Berkeley Foundation has previously funded.
The Resilience Fund grant will enable the MLMS team to roll out a trustee recruitment campaign which will focus on filling the governance skills gap. Additionally, funding will cover two consultancy roles – one will support the Board, team and young people to develop and implement a five-year strategy and the other will provide HR support over the course of the grant. Finally, the staff team will be upskilled in a variety of topics, such as impact, programme design, risk management and sustainability.
