Rainbow Trust

Rainbow Trust, supported by St James London South, provided expert support workers to over 2,000 families caring for a child with a life threatening or terminal illness last year.

Rainbow Trust Triple

When serious illness affects a child family life is turned upside down. Rainbow Trust's Family Support Workers give families that most precious of things - time to spend with their loved ones. They offer bespoke support 365 days a year, regardless of a child's diagnosis and for as long as it is needed.

The charity celebrated its 30th birthday in 2016 with a range of events. As part of this, St James London South organised fundraising events such as go-karting, clay pigeon shooting, gold days and racing up the Leadenhall Building; all of which contributed to a total of £43,078 being raised in the year.

The money raised by St James London South could help to fund a Rainbow Trust Family Support Worker for a whole year, supporting up to 25 families. The Family Support Worker supports not only the sick child, but the whole family, from siblings to grandparents.
