SkyWay Charity
SkyWay is a Hackney-based youth charity that offers emotional and practical support to young people through engagement and developmental activities in the local community.
Berkeley Foundation is supporting SkyWay to expand its outreach work in Hackney and introduce a new family support offer. Over three years, the charity will work with 90 young people aged 8-14 who are at risk of school exclusion and involvement in violence.
SkyWay will partner with local charity Hackney Quest, which specialises in family support. They will work together to support young people and their families for up to one year. The support will include one-to-one sessions, parental support groups, family sessions, youth-led workshops focused on skills development and monthly experiential learning workshops.
