Sunbeams London

Led by and for women and girls, Sunbeams supports 8-16 year old girls and women from Hackney’s Stamford Hills Orthodox Jewish community, with their mental health. Services include weekly 1:1 mentoring and therapeutic activity-based sessions; group mentoring and peer support; and guidance and support for parents. Sunbeams also works closely with local Orthodox Jewish schools, providing training for staff and a mental health forum.

The grant from the Foundation will fund an uplift in hours of the Fundraising Officer and Strategic Development Officer, as well as some consultancy support to implement new monitoring tools. This will enable Sunbeams to improve its impact and performance management and increase and diversify its funding streams.
